Childhood can be full of curiosity and joy, but it can also bring challenges that are hard to put into words. As a Humanistic and Integrative Counsellor, I offer a warm, creative space where children can express themselves through play, imagery, stories, sand tray work and other non-verbal methods suited to their developmental stage.
I tailor each session to meet the individual needs of your child, offering gentle support and therapeutic exploration at a pace that feels safe for them.
Working Together with Parents and Carers
When I work with children, I begin with a parent consultation to understand what’s going on for your child, gather background information, and explore how counselling might help. Ongoing parent reviews are built into the process, ensuring we stay connected around your child’s progress and needs.
When working with a child under 12, we will agree together, with both them and their parent/guardian, what information can be shared, and what should remain confidential. My aim is always to balance the child’s autonomy with my safeguarding responsibilities, and to support healthy communication between you.
Common Reasons for Seeking Support

Whatever the reason, we will take things gently and at your child’s pace.
A Therapeutic Approach That Puts Your Child First
I believe in each child’s capacity to grow and flourish when given the right conditions. My work is guided by empathy, creativity, and respect and I work collaboratively with families to support the wellbeing of your child both inside and outside the therapy space.
