Shifts in appetite, body changes, eating patterns or energy levels can bring up strong and sometimes unexpected emotions. Whether you're exploring ways of caring for your wellbeing, navigating changes in your relationship with food, or experiencing appetite shifts through approaches such as GLP-1 medication, you don’t have to make sense of it alone.
Reflect & Restore offers a compassionate therapeutic space for adults who are noticing changes in their bodies, routines or emotional world, whatever their journey looks like.
As a Humanistic and Integrative Counsellor, I work relationally and creatively, meeting you with empathy, curiosity and respect. I also bring personal lived understanding of GLP-1 treatment, offering an informed and grounded perspective if that’s part of your experience.
A Whole-Self Approach to Change
Changes in appetite or body shape, gaining or losing, are never just about food or willpower. The way we eat is woven through our emotions, memories, habits, comfort, identity and life stories. Often it’s not the behaviour itself that feels heavy, but the mental and emotional load that sits beneath it.
In Reflect & Restore, we explore gently below the surface. We look at the meanings, patterns and feelings that shape your relationship with food and with your body. When that emotional load begins to soften, there is often more room for balance, clarity and self-compassion, making it easier to support your physical wellbeing in ways that feel kind and sustainable.

Your experience might include intentional changes, unexpected shifts, medically supported changes, emotional eating patterns, or a desire to reconnect with your body. Together, we can explore:
Therapy is not about directing your choices or encouraging a particular approach. It’s about providing grounding, understanding and emotional support as you move through a season of change.
Creative approaches, such as imagery, sand tray work, metaphor, vision boards and reflective enquiry, can support deeper understanding where words might feel limited or overwhelming.

Flourish offers a warm, grounded space for anyone navigating changes in appetite, body, food relationships or emotional wellbeing. You’ll be met with curiosity rather than judgement. My practice combines professional training, creativity, and lived understanding of GLP-1 treatment where relevant.
We begin with a gentle conversation about what’s bringing you to therapy. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, hopeful, conflicted or curious, we shape the work around your needs. Your first session focuses on creating safety, understanding your priorities, and beginning to navigate this period of change together.
Sessions are collaborative and responsive to how you’re feeling each week. You may want to explore appetite shifts, body image, emotional patterns, or simply the experience of “something changing.” Our work unfolds at a pace that feels manageable and supportive.
Creative tools, such as imagery, sand tray, mindful enquiry or visual exploration, can help you access deeper layers of insight or express experiences that feel hard to name. These approaches sit alongside a steady, relational connection where you can reflect, restore and reconnect with yourself.
£65 per 50-minute session.
Fee reviews happen annually, aligned with cost of living increases and my CPD and supervision commitments. You’ll always receive at least four weeks’ notice of any change.

No. Reflect & Restore is for anyone experiencing changes in appetite, body, food relationships or emotional wellbeing — whether those changes are natural, intentional, medically supported, or something you’re simply curious about. GLP-1 journeys are welcome, but not required.
No. This work is not about dieting, numbers, or achieving a specific physical outcome. Instead, it offers space to understand the emotional, relational and personal layers connected to food, appetite, body changes and wellbeing. You decide what feels important for us to explore.
You are equally welcome here. Appetite and body changes happen in many directions, and all of them can bring emotional challenges. We’ll explore what’s happening for you with compassion and without judgement, focusing on your lived experience rather than the outcome.
No. I don’t offer dietary advice or prescribe food plans. My role is to support your emotional wellbeing, self-understanding and body connection so that you can make choices that feel right for you — not driven by pressure, shame or confusion.
Absolutely. Rapid shifts — whether from medication, health changes or emotional cycles — can feel disorienting. Therapy can help you understand what’s happening, regulate emotions, and restore a sense of grounding and balance.
We take things slowly. The first session is a chance for you to share what brings you here and what you’re hoping to understand or change. There’s no pressure to talk about anything before you’re ready; we build safety and direction together.
Not at all. Creative tools, like imagery, sand tray, metaphor or visioning, are available if they feel supportive, but the work can be purely conversational if you prefer. You always lead the direction and pace.
No. Not Ever. This is a non-judgemental, shame-free space. I’m here to support you in understanding your experience, reconnecting with your needs and values, and moving toward a healthier relationship with yourself, whatever choices you make.
Yes, with a few safeguarding exceptions. Everything you share is treated with care and respect. I’ll always explain if anything needs to be shared for your safety or someone else’s. You can read my full privacy statement on this site.
