Therapeutic Counselling
School and College Settings
Weekly Therapeutic Counselling support for children and young people aged 4-25 within a school, college or community setting. We'll explore creative, relational and developmental person-centered activities that may include (but are not limited to) sand tray, painting, clay, stamps, stickers, movement etc.
By listening and working collaboratively with clients I’m able to keep their thoughts, ideas and feelings at the heart of any decisions to help them and those supporting them. Using creative enquiry and empathic attunement we'll build a sense of familiarity, trust and safety to support recovery.
In order to deliver safe and appropriate counselling sessions, access to a private room is required, preferably the same one each week. The course of therapy should not be shorter than 8 weeks. Depending on agreement, school team support provided when not in counseling sessions.
